BrandQ® is a unique program focused on the packaging supply chain, providing tools, measurements, methods, and language for facilitating effective communications between brands and suppliers.
Idealliance offers three levels of BrandQ training & certification:
Individual certification designed for brand managers
Individual certification for technical experts to train and implement supply chain providers according to BrandQ program standards
Certification for facilities that meet BrandQ program standards
BrandQ training is delivered live, via two- or three-day hands-on classes, and online. Industry expert instructors facilitate both formats and all attendees must demonstrate competency with the hands-on portion of the class and score favorably on a final examination to receive BrandQ certification.
BrandQ Expert Training
A BrandQ Expert is qualified to train and implement the BrandQ program at brand and supplier facilities. BrandQ training is aimed at color management/process control experts (preferably those already certified as a G7 Expert, although this is not a prerequisite) and focuses on required knowledge that is required to teach the BrandQ program and how to conduct location audits as a certified BrandQ Expert. Upon completion of the program participants will take an on-line test and receive a packet of materials to assess. Participants read and report on these materials as part of the certification process through a remote, instructor-led session. Once certified, BrandQ Experts are listed on the Idealliance BrandQ website as a certified Idealliance BrandQ Expert.
BrandQ Training
The BrandQ program was created by the packaging supply chain for the packaging supply chain. BrandQ helps brand managers communicate expectations and requirements and then carefully monitor and measure these throughout their supply chain. Brand managers who take the BrandQ training learn the language of quality control and print measurement and how to effectively communicate expectations with suppliers. They learn how to determine if suppliers can meet their expectations and the how to best work with spot colors, among many other critical components. The program results in a vastly improved brand/supplier relationship.
